Lovely post. I spent 1 week in the village of Speluncato last year in October and two nights in Ajaccio. Both were spectacular

Thank you Liza! I love the Balagne region - the light is beautiful there - but I’ve never been to Speluncato myself. My partner is from Ajaccio so even though we live in Bastia we often have the occasion to go see his family in the South.

Oh I loved this post, Maïlys! I had no idea that Corsica has own language! Wow. I translated the sign off on your blog posts (asked Google translator to detect the language). It says it was Corsican! 🤗 seriously, I had no idea! Learned something new today! And it’s not even 10am 🤓

Oh thank you Olya, I’m glad that you liked it. Your comment makes me realize that I should probably put the translation of "A prestu" at the end. Corsica has indeed its own language but most of the people speak French in everyday life - although here in Bastia, the native language is more often used and there are many initiatives in the city promoting this language.
